We are also part of Heidelberg Cement Group, one of the world’s largest building materials companies.Lehigh Hanson Materials Limited is looking for a Dispatcher to be based in Vancouver, BC. Reporting to the Dispatch Supervisor, this position is responsible for the dispatching of ready mix concrete drivers and will have a tremendous impact on the day to day operations of our business. The Dispatcher plays an integral role in providing superior customer service while maintaining an emphasis on product quality and costs. If you are an efficient multitasker who loves a good challenge, we want to hear from you!What you’ll get to do

  • Day-to-day dispatching of up to 80 ready mix trucks from 10 concrete plants
  • Interact with customers and satisfy requests for information and changes in shipping requirements
  • Monitor all aspects of concrete delivery and supply
  • Interact with all concrete division staff on dispatch related matters
  • Provide leadership to ready mix truck drivers
Essential Experience and Skills
  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience dispatching
  • Must be willing to work flex hours including Saturdays.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment
  • Familiar with WCB/Employment Standards/Ministry of Transport policies and regulations is an asset
