Ledcor Employee Apply internally in Workday.DescriptionJob Summary:You are a drafter with experience in pipeline construction looking for a new challenge. Using your analytical skills, you will create complex corridor and surface models and using your exceptional communication skills, you will work with the field engineering team in creating drawings for both client approval, as well as practical construction purposes. You’re a team player who helps out when needed.Apply today to join our Pipeline team in Kitimat!Essential Responsibilities

• Keep up-to-date on project specifications, details and standards to ensure accurate drawings are being produced
• Receive and update daily field survey data
• Revise spool drawings and complete back drafting in a timely manner
• Troubleshoot any potential problems with client’s drawings
• Work with the site leadership and quality personnel to ensure drawings produced are easily understood by workers, and work to continually improve error ratio
• Prepare spool drafting revision logs
• Responsible for other tasks such as: Processing of Lidar and point cloud data, surface creation and comparison for volume analysis, complex corridor creation and custom assembly work, cross section creation with custom labeling as well as the creation of professional quality alignment, profile and cross section drawings

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in a similar role
• Fluent in AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to take direction and work with minimal supervision
• Excellent interpersonal skills, combined with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly able to adapt to change

Work Conditions

• Site based position
• Camp based accomodation
