Job Description

The Role:The JD Group is looking for an Ecommerce Category Specialist to join our quickly growing and developing team. Main responsibilities include managing product launches and maintaining websites across all three channels (JD Sports, Size and Livestock) Most importantly, you will ensure that we are providing exceptional customer experience through a cohesive ecommerce strategy.Key Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Use online merchandising best practices and tools to execute weekly operations
  • Own web publishing and the upkeep of web content across all page types
  • Administer general website maintenance, acting as the key point of contact for website issues
  • Own the product launch process including product QA whilst also working to external brand launch dates
  • Maintain the website navigation, optimizing based on assortment and seasonal trends
  • Use analytics to identify opportunities for improvement in merchandising efficiency, and collaborate on optimization activities within your team
  • Optimize landing pages for in-bound digital marketing channels (email, search & social) and on-site media programs
  • Ensure proper quality assurance checks for any merchandising, promotional content, or discounts prior to publishing
Skills/Experience/Knowledge needed:
  • Strong/proven writing skills
  • Strong time management and organizational skills in order to meet tight deadlines for product/campaign launches
  • Ability to work and adapt in fast-paced environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Experience using Shopify or other ecommerce platforms
  • Previous knowledge of Google Analytics
  • Basic Excel skills required
