GPC is global in operations, culture, and language, with offices in New York, Australia, San Diego, San Francisco, Toronto, Vancouver, Mexico City, Sao Paulo, The Hague, Amsterdam, Hong Kong, Ho Chi Minh, and Manila.ABOUT YOU: E-COMMERCE COPYWRITERWe’re looking for someone who is passionate about what they do and enjoys working within a team to write advertising and promotional marketing copy for websites, v/blog, email, social media and a wide variety of digital media copy.YOUR SKILLS:
  • Excellent oral & written communication skills in English
  • Strong, creative writing skills combined with excellent grammar and formatting skills
  • Excellent research skills with the ability to quickly generate compelling content on a wide variety of topics
  • Both creative and technical writing required
  • Must work well as part of a focused team, with minimal supervision and a disciplined and productive “self-starting” work ethic
  • Must be highly organized with a keen eye for details
  • Ability to perform quality research
  • You have to be fast and adaptable. Good knowledge of the history of advertising is a plus.
  • Working knowledge of social media interfaces, digital graphic design, basic HTML and blogging platforms such as Wordpress is an asset
  • Can start immediately (full-time position)
YOU WILL INCLUDE SEVERAL PAGES OF WRITING SAMPLES THAT INCLUDE SPECIFIC ADVERTISING COPY. Don’t send us links to web pages, or snippets of poetry, or stuff from your creative writing class. We don’t want to search the web, we want you to send us a sample, NOT LINKS.Preference will be given to self-starting employees who can independently and efficiently complete writing assignments, and who are also able to generate and develop new concepts and strategies while working with our international marketing team.BENEFITS:
