French version follow - La version française suitThe Asia Pacific Foundation of Canada (APF Canada) is seeking one Editor on a fixed-term, full-time contract to work on a variety of projects but particularly on a new initiative, the Canada Asia Sustainability Tracker (CAST). CAST is an online, interactive platform for mapping and visualizing developments in the Asia Pacific with respect to specific nodes of Canadian engagement with the region. Focused principally on sustainability and ESG developments, CAST will provide sub-national level data and information on Asian affairs, Asia’s two-way engagement with Canada, and related emerging trends.The Editor will work closely with the broader CAST team to ensure the highest degree of accuracy and editorial quality of all platform outputs, including daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly summaries and reports. The role includes writing and editing digital and print products, including the Foundation’s newsletters, websites, and the CAST platform.Working closely with the directors of Research and Communications alongside other team members, the Editor will be based either in Vancouver or Toronto. APF Canada operates on a flexible, Hybrid Work Schedule, partly remote and partly in-office, Monday to Friday during regular office hours, five days a week.
