Job DescriptionThe CIMA+offices in Western Canada are in the middle of a large growth trajectory. This means new, exciting complex projects that you will have the ability to shape and be a part of. We are actively looking for people who want to develop their skillsets, take on new challenges, and advance their careers within the organization.We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Engineering Technical Writer to join our engineering consulting team. In this role, you will be responsible for producing high-quality, client-facing documents that clearly and accurately communicate complex technical information. You will collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and project teams to support the development of technical reports and memos; plans and other key deliverables.Primary responsibilities 

  • Develop, edit, and maintain technical documentation including engineering reports, design briefs, plans, procedures.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and professional language tailored to target audiences.
  • Ensure consistency in tone, style, formatting, and branding across all deliverables.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather source material and understand content objectives.
  • Review and revise content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, and compliance with company standards.
  • Support the creation of templates, style guides, and document management processes.
  • Assist with quality assurance checks and editorial reviews for major project submissions.
  • Work under tight deadlines while managing multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations.
