This part-time, 3-month fixed-term role is perfect for an enthusiastic and organized individual eager to gain hands-on experience in event planning, sales operations, and luxury travel. Please note that the preferred start and end dates for this role are April 1st to July 1st, 2025.This role requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with strong communication, multitasking, and problem-solving skills to successfully coordinate logistics, engage with clients, and support internal teams. The ideal candidate works well both independently and collaboratively, and is passionate about delivering exceptional event experiences.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESEvent Coordination

  • Assist in planning and executing sales events, trade shows, and client experiences.
  • Support the coordination of logistics, vendor communication, and promotional materials for events.
  • Maintain and update event registration lists, guest communications, and post-event follow-ups.
  • Provide assistance in manual reporting and tracking of follow-up communication with guests and Travel Advisors.
Customer Service
  • Identify problem areas and seek timely and effective solutions
  • Ensure high priority is given to the focus on customer service within the department
  • Use initiative and judgement to ensure all matters are properly handled.
Work Coordination
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Assist sales team to achieve department goals
REQUIREMENTS
  • Experience in event planning, sales, or hospitality, preferably within the luxury travel or cruise industry would be an asset.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficient in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • A keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering high-quality, luxury experiences.
  • Must be able to lift 30lbs
Compensation and Schedule:
  • Contract length: 3 months
  • Part-time: 3 days a week, Tuesday to Thursday
  • Work model: In-person at our Vancouver Downtown office
  • Pay: $20.00 per hour
  • Expected hours: 22.5 per week
