Job Description

We are looking for a new leader for our team in the role of:Executive DirectorResponsibilities:

  • Provide Direction and Leadership towards the Philosophy, Mission, Vision, and Strategic Plan
  • Overall Management of the Community Outreach Programming
  • Build and Mentor the Team to Success, through Support, Training and Empowerment
  • Foster Strong Relationships with Aligned Organizations
  • Represent the Organization’s Mission and Vision in the Community as the ‘Face of the Organization’
  • Positively Engage with the Staff, Board Members, Volunteers, Donors, and other Partners
  • Develop, Implement, and Monitor and Annual Operation Plans and Budgets
  • Incorporate best practices in HR Management to lead a Capable, Strong Team with a Positive Culture
  • Ensure the Facility Maintenance and Repairs are up to Code.
  • Fundraisingamp; Grant Research/Writing
  • Additional Duties as Required by the Board
Requirements:
  • Understanding towards the Sensitive Nature of the Clientele served by the Organization
  • Respect for the Requirement of a High Level of Confidentiality
  • Professional, Ethicalamp; Honest
  • Empatheticamp; caring towards those dealing with Trauma.
  • Experience in Team Buildingamp; Leading while Cultivating a Positive, Supportive Culture
  • Able to Manage Systems to Achieve Fundraising Goals, Strategic Planning and Budgeting
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Strong Computer Competency, with ability to work in MS Office and Sage Accounting Programs
  • Understanding of and Familiarity with Board Governance Structure
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Social Services or Human Services considered an Asset.
We Offer
  • $70,000 – $75,000 Annual Salary

  • Monday – Friday, 8am – 5pm with occasional after-hours calls, and occasional after hour requirements for eventsamp; fundraisers
