You will work on a variety of impactful projects to help maintain, advance, and accelerate Ansys products.In this internship, you will support our Electronics Business Unit. This is a 40-hour per week paid position starting August 2021 and concluding December 2021.RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop and maintain scripts that do regression testing of Meshing modulueDo defect correction verificationsDevelop tools to visualize and debug the meshing routines.Automate data collection related to defectsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONSPursuing a Bachelors or Master's degree in any Engineering related technical degree with a GPA of 3.0 or higher.If major is not computer science, computer science/coding should be a minor or a specilization.If major is computer scince, please note this job is not in robotics, AI or big data.Currently enrolled in a full-time degree program and returning to university after the completion of the internship program.Experience with Python and/or C++Solid background in algorithms and data structures.Strong analytical skills and willingness to learn.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with python, QT, pandas and JupyterExperience with OpenGL or other scene renderingFamiliarity with meshes, surface triangulations, visualization etcParticipation in ACM programming competitions at college/university level.CULTURE AND VALUESCulture and values are incredibly important to Ansys.
