We are also part of Heidelberg Cement Group, one of the world’s largest building materials companies.Lehigh Hanson is seeking a Field Service Representative for our Ready Mix Concrete businesses in Greater Vancouver. These businesses include Rempel Bros. Concrete, Ocean Concrete and Allied Ready Mix Concrete. The key responsibility for this position is to ensure the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to our customers. This includes having a presence on job sites before and during concrete pours, but also at our concrete plants.This position will support our Field Superintendents that directly supervise our production workforce that include; Ready Mix Concrete Truck Drivers, Loader Operators, Concrete Plant Operators, etc.What you’ll get to doEnsure the safe and efficient delivery of concrete to Lehigh Hanson’s customers.Assist Field Superintendents with the supervision of workforce and concrete plant sites.Liaise with customers during pre-pour meetings, high volume pours and make sure concrete trucks are routed efficiently.Safety – Promote and support Lehigh Hanson’s safety programs.Assist Quality Control Department with compliance and oversight on project sites.Environment – Ensure environmental standards are met and support as required.Establish good working relationships with on-site project managers, superintendents, foremen and work crews.Perform other duties and assignments as required.Essential Experience and SkillsBachelor’s Degree preferred, High school diploma requiredCommercial driver’s license an assetACI Concrete Field Testing Technician Grade 1 certification or CCIL Concrete Certification3 to 5 years of ready mix concrete industry experience an assetMust be available to work shiftsMust have excellent computer skills, report writing and system functionalityExcellent listening, written and verbal communication skillsSharp critical thinking and analytical skillsHighly dependable, ability to work in a fast paced environmentWork Environment:Role operates in a manufacturing environment with moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, elevated noise levels, and dusty conditions.What we have to offer:Competitive base salaryHighly competitive benefits programsPension plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions and RRSP optionsOur pre-employment process includes: reference checks, a medical including drug & alcohol testing, and a criminal record and drivers abstract check may be required.HP123CAIND123#LI-MG1Line of BusinessConcreteDepartmentOperationsState/ProvinceBritish Columbia
