With a growing list of accomplishments in the Gaming, FinTech, and Media industries, and strong ambitions for future growth, we are looking to strengthen our financial planning and analysis function. We have big plans in the next few years with several key projects to be delivered, including a targeted IPO and various M&A opportunities.As our Financial Analyst, you’ll provide the insights and analysis the business needs to not only assess past performance, but improve current operations and capitalize on future growth. You’re interested in financial modelling, making sense of data and presenting information clearly. You are resourceful, curious, and driven to tackle projects you have never seen before.We think this role will speak to you if you’ve got a strong attention to detail and an analytical mind, if you are comfortable untangling and moving key projects forward, and you are known for your adaptability and resourcefulness. You are probably someone who naturally reframes challenges into opportunities.This role will work collaboratively with the Senior Financial Analyst, and report to the Director of Finance.What You Will Be Doing

  • Prepare various types of financial analyses using generic key performance indicators and those specific to the iGaming and Online Sports Betting industries.
  • Support the preparation and analysis of annual budgets, budget versus actual results, as well as monthly and quarterly reforecasting activities.
  • Prepare supporting information for monthly management reporting, as well as quarterly and year-end financial reporting.
  • Support department leads in understanding their budgets and tracking to actual spend.
  • Support the development of internal and external financial and operational PowerBI dashboards.
  • Provide support to the broader Accounting and Finance teams with other related activities and ad hoc projects.
About You
  • Educated. You have a degree or diploma in accounting or finance
  • Experienced. We are looking for someone with a minimum of 1-2 years of related accounting or finance experience
  • Analytical. You can conduct various types of financial analyst and have the ability to build financial models
  • Detail-oriented. You have a keen eye for the little things, and you’re comfortable working in Excel spreadsheets
  • Solid communicator. Whether it is written or verbal, people know what you mean, what you are asking for, and what is expected
  • Team-player. While you are comfortable handling your own work, you’re keen to be part of a team, and contributing to the success of the overall business
  • Eager. You’re self-motivated and willing to own tasks and deliverables, and always open to taking on new challenges.
  • Organized. You can handle multiple deliverables and multiple deadlines, clearly understanding what is required of you and managing expectations.
