This is a position for an ambitious professional with 1+ years of post-diploma experience gained at a reputable law firm. The successful candidate must have strong references and be a team player.Responsibilities:Cover desks for vacation and sick daysProvide overflow support to legal support staffPrepare and draft various correspondence and documents (including dicta-typing and copy-typing)Draft standard letters, documents briefs and pleadingsSet trials, discoveries, etc. and prepare required documentationInteract with clients by phone and in personSet appointments for clientsMaintain filing system including a bring-forward systemSort incoming mail and prepare outgoing mailPerform other related duties as requiredQualifications:Graduate of a Legal Administrative Assistant programMinimum 1+ years of experience as a Legal Administrative Assistant in a litigation practiceExcellent English oral and written skillsProfessional manner in communication with clientsStrong administration and organization skillsAble to draft standard correspondence and documents with minimal supervisionAble to work independently and as part of a teamAble to multi-task and prioritize workLitigation experience preferredBenefits & Perks:We offer a comprehensive salary and benefits package that is very competitive, together with opportunities for personal and professional growth.
