The Food Experience Auditor will report to the Manager, Fair Operations & Special Programs and will be responsible for conducting assessments of the food vendors to ensure that high standards of quality for our customers are met. As a Food Experience Auditor, you will be completing confidential audits of our food vendors and is a unique way in providing feedback so that we can enhance the experience of current and future visitors!Why join our Team

What will you do this yearIn your role as a Food Experience Auditor, your primary accountabilities will be to:
  • Conduct confidential assessments of food vendors (approximately 10-12 audits per 5-hour shift)
  • Organize and complete audits in a self-determined sequence (e.g. savoury orders followed by sweet orders, etc.)
  • Order and sample assigned food items while observing several key elements related to customer service, food quality, cleanliness, and organization
  • Assess audit elements using an appropriate scale and provide an overall written explanation of strengths and/or opportunities for improvement
  • Maintain cash float provided to cover the cost of assigned food items
  • Perform other related duties as required
What else
  • Must have the physical ability to walk throughout the park for the duration of the shift
  • Must have the physical ability to sample food items
  • Must be capable of understanding and executing written and oral English instructions and can work independently
  • Must be able to work various rotating shifts, evenings, weekends and holidays and work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Confidentiality and discretion to complete audits so that it does not draw attention
  • Candidates must undergo a Criminal Record Check
