This is not a receptionist position, it is so much more! Zennkai Salon located in downtown Vancouver is now looking for an energetic and organized Salon Coordinator that wants to succeed in a high level service and guest care focused environment.The right candidate must be passionate about delivering the ultimate salon experience for our guests. A Salon Coordinator contributes to company success by assisting the manager in executing operations, providing legendary guest service and assisting guests with retail recommendations.If you have a passion for beauty and wellness, thrive in a customer service oriented environment and are a motivated, hard working team player we would love to meet you!Daily Operations & Duties:

• Polite recognition and greeting of all clients/guests entering & exiting the store.
• Thorough knowledge of all products & services we offer to ensure accurate bookings & recommendations.
• Fulfillment of all service bookings, confirmation calls and client/guest follow up.
• Inform all clients/guests about new services & promotions.
• Appropriately deal with client/guest feedback both positive & negative.
• Ensure total accuracy with all cash responsibilities, both day end and daily deposits.
• Ability to troubleshoot & problem solve when needed.
• Completion of inventory counts each day.
• Ensure displays are full at all times and refreshed when selling through stock.
• Merchandise new inventory upon arrival each week.
• Unpack boxes for inventory as required. Boxes can weigh 10-30 lbs.
• Ensure an immaculate presentation of store location through cleanliness and positive atmosphere.
• Participate in station/room checks to ensure the entire location has completed the required sterilization.
• Attend company events, classes, seminars & team meetings.
• Continually work towards exceeding locations sales goals.

Qualifications Required:

• Previous Salon/Spa experience preferred.
• Consistency in maintaining a professional attitude & appearance. Proper dress code, hair & makeup completion must be adhered to daily.
• Consistent high personal standards and confidence in your abilities.
• Dedicated to building upon location sales success.
• Excellent communication skills & strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to build positive relationships with our staff and guests.
• Our locations obtain a high volume of retail sales. Candidates must be comfortable with product recommendations & suggestive selling.
• Contribute to company success by providing legendary guest service.
• Desire to keep up to date with the latest trends and ongoing industry education.
• Involvement and passion for our social media outlets.
• Strong organizational skills to ensure the success of front end operations.
• Ability to fulfill retail goal expectations.
• Anticipate location needs by constantly evaluating our environment for guests satisfaction.

Shift ExpectationsWe are flexible! Our locations are open 7 days a week! Candidates must have a evening & weekend availability to fulfill this position.This is a full time permanent position. Candidates may be required to work throughout all our Vancouver locations (Downtown, South Granville & Kitsilano)Benefits & Perks
