Job Description

Experienced Servers & FOH Staff Palate Kitchen is an Exciting new concept located close to the Vancouver Convention Center, Fairmont Waterfront, and Cruise Ship docking points by Coal Harbour. We have been open for just over a year and have grown into a full service Brunch, Third Wave Coffee, and soon to launch Upscale Dinner establishment.We are currently hiring Servers, Bartenders and Hosts to join our team! For Servers and Bartenders we are specifically looking for individuals with Upscale dining experience, wine knowledge, professional service standards, and an ability to cater a memorable dining experience.Server Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 Years Working as a Server in an Upscale Environment
  • Professional Service Standards
  • Attention to Detail in their service
  • Minimum Base Level Wine Knowledge
  • Heightened Wine Knowledge Preferred
  • Ability to Memorize and Describe Menu Items
  • Ability to Memorize and Describe Cocktail Menu Items
  • Ability to remain clean and organized during a busy service
  • Ability to communicate respectfully with co-works and guests
  • Ability to cater a memorable dining experience
  • Team Focused & Team Player mentality
Bartender Requirements:
  • Previous experience working as a Bartender with an extensive Cocktail Program
  • Previous experience working in an Upscale Restaurant or Bar
  • Ability to execute a busy service while remaining calm, organized and efficient
  • Ability to Memorize and Describe Cocktail Menu Items
  • Ability to remain clean and organized during a busy service
  • Ability to communicate respectfully with co-works and guests
  • Team Focused & Team Player mentality
  • Ability to keep a clean and organized bar
  • Availability to work Closing shifts on Thursday, Friday and/or Saturday Evenings.
