Please indicate on your cover letter which position(s) you would like to be considered for.Position : General Office SupportPosition Type : Permanent – Office Support BStart Date : 06 September 2022Location : Windermere SecondaryHours of Work: 7 hours per daySalary: $25.90/hour+extensive benefits plan and municipal pensionPosition : General Office SupportPosition Type : Temporary – Office Support BStart/End Dates : 06 September 2022 to 30 June 2023Location : Norquay ElementaryHours of Work: 7 hours per daySalary: $25.90/hour + 18.6% in lieu of benefitsWorking months for these positions follow the school calendar(Aug/Sept start to June/July finish each year)In this position, you will:Perform office functions to support schoolProvide clerical support to administrators, counsellors, and other staffAnswer telephone and act as receptionist to greet the public and provide direction and assistanceProvide assistance in routine data entry of records, reports, timetables, student recordsPhotocopy office and classroom materialPrepare a variety of reports, tabulations and make simple arithmetical calculations in connection with reportsType from copy and rough draft a variety of material including correspondence, reports, forms, statements, classroom materials, etc.Perform other work within the job band as assignedQualifications:Completion of Grade 12 plus one (1) year formal training in a business/office program and a minimum of two (2) years of office experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Knowledge and experience using email systems and Microsoft Office programs.Exceptional customer service, interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Must be able to meet the following assessments: Keyboarding speed (35+ wpm), current Word and Excel (average = +65%), composing correspondence, mail merge and basic business math.Must possess or be willing to obtain an Occupational First Aid (OFA) certificate and will be required to perform OFA duties if assigned by the Principal.
