In this role, you will help promote wellness and provide information on health-related products and lifestyle choices. As a Health Educator, it is important to have an approachable demeanour, unwavering passion for health and wellness and a genuine interest in helping others improve their lives.Skills / Qualifications:

• Background in nutrition as a Registered Holistic Nutritionist or similar certification / degree.
• RHN, IHN, or Health-related certificate.
• Strong knowledge of health and wellness including fitness, nutrition and mental health.
• 1 – 5 years experience working in a retail or customer-facing role, particularly in health-focused environments (e.g., health food stores, fitness centers, wellness clinics).
• Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and explain simple to complex health inquiries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide personalized attention to customers.
• Flexibility to work during weekends, holidays and varying hours needed.
• Strong computer skills.
• Food Safe Level 1.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate information to customers about the health benefits of various products (e.g., supplements, healthy food items).
• Answer customer inquiries and offer guidance regarding product ingredients, health claims, and usage.
• Offer advice on healthy living, including nutrition, exercise and mental well-being.
• Assist customers in selecting the right product based on their individual health needs and goals and ensure accurate POS transactions.
• Help customers understand and navigate store promotions related to health products.
• Stay informed about the latest health trends, new products and scientific research related to health and wellness.
• Understand how to open and close the store with proper procedure.
• Maintain safe and healthy work environment by following company standard operating procedures.
• Assist with inventory management, receive and stock product deliveries.
• Take part in specific tasks that help ensure our store run smoothly.
