Proud to be a part of the Intercontinental Hotels Group family, The Holiday Inn Vancouver Centre on 711 West Broadway is a newly renovated 197 room hotel located in the heart of Vancouver, British Columbia. We are currently recruiting for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Guest Services Representative.*Providing exceptional customer service by going an extra mile for our guests*Accurately billing and tallying individual accounts*Basic concierge duties such as giving out directions*Checking guests in/out of hotel*Answering switchboard*Responding to guest inquiries and requests*Completing shift checklists*Other duties and projects as assigned*Cash handlingJob Requirements:*Knowledge on Opera property management system an asset*Grade 12 completion. Post secondary education in Tourism/Hospitality programs an asset.*Excellent customer service skills and attitude*Strong communication and interpersonal skills*Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and diplomacy*Previous front desk experience is required*Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written.
