Position Overview: Seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a residence located in Vancouver, British Columbia. This position is full-time, Monday to Friday 10am-6pm with some flexibility outside of core hours required. The ideal candidate is comfortable living in the residence within their own private living quarters, but the principal is open to considering live-out candidates too. Candidate Profile: You are an experienced and well-rounded housekeeping professional who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You have a strong understanding of household hygiene and cleaning best practices. You are comfortable in the kitchen, have basic cooking knowledge, and are confident following a recipe.Primary Responsibilities: ●Daily housekeeping to include dusting, vacuuming, kitchen and bathroom cleaning, washing floors●Maintain household inventory, prepare household inventory checklists●Preparing lunch or dinner for the principal depending on the schedule●Occasional laundry, ironing and steaming, follow washing instructions for certain fabrics●Trash and recycling management●Occasional driving of principal and travelling to appointments as needed●Running errands, grocery shopping, and other provisioning as needed●Basic vehicle maintenance and vendor/contractor supervision●Special projects include, but not limited to, quarterly deep cleans, household cupboard reorganization, fridge deep cleaning●Other duties as required from time to timeApplicant Qualities: ●Must have previous experience working in a semi-formal residence●Excellent housekeeping, laundry and ironing skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces●Must maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times, exercise diplomacy, discretion and respect of boundaries●Applicants must be service oriented with excellent English communication skills●A valid full driver #39;s license●Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
