You will provide HR support across North America on a variety of HR-related matters including: manager coaching, team mentoring, talent management, performance management, diversity, inclusion & belonging, and conflict resolution.The ideal candidate will approach their work with a high level of tenacity and integrity utilizing both HR generalist and business partner skills to drive HR operations and people programs. This is the perfect position for an HR professional that is looking for an opportunity to grow their career working alongside a global HR team that is building a world-class and innovative employee experience.Your day to dayManage day to day HR operations in region including execution of HR programs, processes and employee relations.Partner with global HR team to identify opportunities to improve process and policies that effectively support the execution of the people strategy.Develop, improve and implement people programs and HR initiatives to support employee engagement, development and culture.Navigate sensitive employee relations issues with good instinct focused on quick solutions while effectively managing risk.Collaborate , consult and coach managers on HR related topics to support a respectful, high-performance culture.Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to develop continual improvements to recruit and retain top talent and to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR team.Proactively anticipate and meet the needs of business leaders, employees and line managers through the HR function.Facilitate efficient HR operation including data accuracy in HR systems and generating timely and accurate reporting to Management.Work with other HR partners to ensure appropriate delivery of HR services to employees.What you bring to the team8+ years of HR Business Partner experience, partnering directly with senior leaders.Ability to establish relationships and partnerships (internal and external) at all levels of the organization.Experience leading through mid to large scale change corporate initiatives at a Canadian-wide level.Solid understanding of Canadian employment laws and benefits.Exhibit strong leadership and influencing skills, and design, implement, and lead change management initiatives.Proven track record demonstrating agility in an ever-changing environment.Critical thinking skills with the ability to take sizable problems and break them into small manageable pieces.Ability to handle ambiguity with ease.Superb judgment and integrity, including excellent decision-making skills and a sense of urgency.Ability to work both tactically and strategically to get business needs met.Attention to detail and the ability to effectively handle multiple priorities.Exceptional verbal communication and presentation skills, and skilled in use of Microsoft Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint.Bachelors Degree.Our CultureAt Poly, leadership principles aren't just something we talk about, they're something we live and breathe.
