Job Description

Handling Riviera hotels for the following:

  • Manages the recruitments for the hiring positions as well as of taking care of the status change and terminations
  • Facilitates orientation, on-boarding and compliance training for new hires
  • Provides support for delivering various HR projects and initiatives, being pro-active on documenting, communicating and implementing processes to support the Human Resource needs of the organization
  • Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; hearing and resolving employee grievances; counseling employees and supervisors
  • Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures
  • Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducting investigations; maintaining records
  • Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.

  • 8 hour shift
Ability to commute/relocate:
  • Vancouver, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
  • Bachelors Degree (preferred)
Experience:
  • Human resources: 2 years (preferred)
