ICON CREATIVE STUDIO- IMMIGRATION & MOBILITY COORDINATOR-ICON Creative Studio is Canada’s largest independently owned animation entertainment company located in the historic Gastown district of Vancouver, BC Canada with design, storyboarding, modeling, rigging, animation, technical finaling, lighting, visual effects, and compositing artists alongside creative and management teams.-Why work at ICONAt ICON we constantly invest in raising the bar of our productions and fostering our people. ** This is a full time on-site position**Requirements:
  • Must be self-motivated, detailed orientated and highly organized
  • Must enjoy being busy, completing paper work accurately and have excellent interpersonal skills
  • Must have experience working in a similar capacity
  • Must have excellent Microsoft Office skills
  • Post Secondary Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or Immigration is preferred or equivalent work experience in a
similar field.Responsibilities:Immigration Support & Visa Applications
  • Create and process employee work visa applications.
  • Responsible for meeting with employees to review work visa applications and discuss the required
paperwork to bring to the border / apply online.
  • Assist employees with PR applications by creating and sending supporting documents.
  • Update sheets and processing times on a weekly basis.
Onboarding & HR tasks
  • Manage and run employee orientation.
  • Own the new hire process including running all 1st day paperwork meetings, collecting and tracking all documentation.
  • Set up and complete employee files.
  • Set up and complete employee handbooks.
  • Send all Employment Contracts.
  • Update HR tracking sheets and team lists as needed.
  • Manages all filing for employee files (physical and virtual).
