As a non-profit, we help people develop skills and knowledge, empowering our neighbours to create positive change in their lives. Our team is made up of more than 420 staff, including expert counsellors and support workers who provide compassionate, client-centered care to youth experiencing homelessness, families and children impacted by trauma, victims of domestic violence, and other vulnerable people from an evidence-based, trauma-informed lens. We believe in building a brighter future for all British Columbians and providing a supportive and inclusive workplace for all our staff.Working within the mission, vision, values and person-centred philosophy of the Agency, the Financial Empowerment Facilitator supports people in groups or one to one for Indigenous communities in the Lower Mainland. Our curriculum enables participants to effectively manage everyday finances as well as plan for the future. We reduce stress and help participants feel more in control of their financial well-being. We are attentive to meeting people where they are and always respect their experiences. Building relationships with community partners, we foster and facilitate access to training, actively supporting the Agency’s awareness and goals around diversity, equity, justice and inclusion.What we offer you:Work Hours: 4 or more hours per week (hours may fluctuate).
