Job Description

SummaryAs an Inside Sales Specialist, you are responsible for supporting the sales team, becoming a trusted resource for them for your stakeholders and thereby assisting in increasing market share of our products in your assigned territory. The Inside Sales Specialist will reach business targets through excellent telephone sales and communications skills. This individual will also develop his or her phone-based revenue generation through the creation of sales leads, initiation of prospect calls, and establishment of ongoing rapport with existing and potential customers.

  • Produce weekly reports and CRM updates
  • With the training provided, master Ocular Surface Disease product knowledge and become a resource for and to be able to train medical staff.
  • Cold-call prospects that are generated by external lead sources.
  • Identify decision makers within targeted leads to begin sales process.
  • Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base.
  • Collaborate with sales team to determine necessary strategic sales approaches.
  • Maintain and expand the companys database of prospects.
  • Manage small accounts
  • Prospect potential accounts
  • Set up and deliver sales presentations, product/service demonstrations, and other sales actions.
  • Where necessary, support marketing efforts such as trade shows, exhibits, and other events.
  • Make outbound follow-up calls to existing customers via telephone and e-mail cross-sell and up-sell.
  • Handle inbound, unsolicited prospect calls and convert them into sales.
  • Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot customer service issues.
  • Attend periodic sales training where applicable.
  • Follow Salesforce Administrator Certification course, complete Salesforce Admin Certification Exam
  • Follow Salesforce Platform App Builder Certification course, complete Platform App Builder Certification Exam
Requirements
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Science, Business or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years experience in large scale CRM system, preferably SalesForce
  • Superior sales skills including: sales process and cycle management, planning, needs based selling, post call analysis and follow up, relationship building, closing.
  • Excellent people and communication skills (verbally and written)
  • Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Excellent data analysis and MS Excel skills incl. Pivot Tables
  • Self-motivated and organized
  • Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Strong work ethic and positive team attitude.
  • Excellent teamwork and team building skills.
