The Brand Resource & Standards team is charged with creating and maintaining a single source of truth to ensure anyone at TELUS and our vendor partners are able to deliver a TELUS branded property (or product) on standard. Plus, at telus.com/digital, we want to clearly showcase and articulate in the digital marketplace what makes TELUS Digital great to attract the right talent for our digital teams.Your key drivers will be enabling the team to meet its objectives by leading, organizing and coordinating. You will facilitate agile ceremonies, aid in the removal of impediments and buffer the team from distracting influences. Teams will look to you to facilitate collaboration across TELUS Digital and beyond. To enhance the shared ownership of projects, you will provide consistent communication and visibility to our stakeholders, and help manage risks to keep the program streams moving forward. Your focus will be on driving outcomes for the team and helping communicate the status of those outcomes to the broader team.This is a full time permanent position.Here’s how

  • Taking the initiative to organize a team. Defining and understanding the vision, objectives, scope and priorities. Facilitating alignment between the team’s vision and that of the Business, Vendor and Agency Partners
  • Clarifying ambiguity, articulating a strategy, devising the plans needed to execute on the strategy and reporting back on outcomes delivered
  • Amplifying the Brand Resource & Standards team in deep dives, department-wide and team-wide meetings to showcase the team’s objective, achievements, lessons learned and horizon views regularly.
  • Tracking, analyzing and reporting on team metrics.
  • Assisting with the collection and synthesis of information and the development of deliverables. Ensuring all activities related to planning, design, development, testing and deployment are accounted for and carried out. Identifying, addressing, and reporting on dependencies and risks to delivery.
  • Coaching the team to embrace and embed lean and agile practices in their work, such as collaboration, prioritization, team accountability and visibility
  • Scheduling and leading key agile ceremonies such as stand-ups, design jams, planning sessions, product demos and retrospectives. Enabling the team to become self-organized and empowered, so they can consistently deliver on their commitments.
  • Building collaborative relationships with stakeholders and customers to gather additional requirements and feedback

  • Have a minimum 5 years of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Manager or Program Manager
  • Are a master facilitator who is able to lead successful internal discovery sessions, requirement gathering meetings, retrospectives and design jams
  • Demonstrate exceptional communication, interpersonal, organizational, and time-management skills
  • Have experience working in complex, multi-project, multi-team environments.
  • Are willing to take ownership of whatever you’re working on, and be accountable for the results. Are also self-confident and assertive when required to constructively problem solve.
  • Are creative, resourceful and innovative at tackling complex challenges
