Job Description

The result of this teamwork is high-performance, easy-to-implement and cost-effective 3D sensor technologies that deliver the best results in even the most challenging 3D inline inspection applications.What will you do as an Inventory Controller IWe are looking for a fixed term (up to 13 months) Inventory Controller I for maternity leave coverage. Reporting to the Materials Team Lead, the Inventory Controller I performs inventory control activities including parts kitting, cycle counting, and stockroom and finished goods organization on a daily basis.

  • Adheres to ESD protection and ensures that electronics and optics are handled appropriately.
  • Picks inventory from the stockroom and verifies part number, version, and revision prior to kitting.
  • Uses RF Scanner to process daily inventory tasks
  • Prints different product labels per request.
  • Ensures inventory is well organized, labeled, clean, and accessible at all times.
  • Manage Consumable Inventory in production, ensure parts are ordered and replenished within appropriate lead time.
  • Process non-conformance parts for Quality review
  • Puts away incoming parts from Receiving and Quality.
  • Participates in cycle counting, quarterly and yearly inventory count activities.
  • Ensures no unauthorized part movement without an appropriate inventory transaction in Netsuite.
  • Adheres to all approval processes before completing appropriate inventory adjustments.
  • Support cross department functions within the Logistics team
  • Other duties as required.
  • Adheres to LMI Employee Policy Manual.
What do you need to be successful
  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum of 1+years of inventory management experience.
  • Experience in a production or manufacturing environment is preferred.
  • Experience in an ESD-safe environment is preferred.
  • Experience with RF Smart tools would be an asset.
  • Good written and oral communication skills.
  • Good computer skills and knowledge of ERP systems.
  • Proven track record of quality and performance.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Must be able to lift 50lbs.
