Rival TechnologiesWe are seeking a IT Compliance Analyst to join our Risk & Compliance team. This individual will play a critical role in maturing our IT Compliance program. The Analyst will ensure systems and processes are developed and actioned in alignment with audit standards, client agreements, and internal policies. They will collaborate with stakeholders across the company as a champion of IT Compliance and Information Security’s programs.   • Creating and maintaining the IT Compliance Program in alignment with internal and audit requirements
  • Managing IT Compliance project deliverables.
  • Acting as key stakeholder in the company’s SOC2, ISO27001 & HIPAA audits and related activities.
  • Playing an active role in the Risk Assessment and Risk Management process.
  • Maintenance of policies, procedures, and other documentation as they relate to Information Security.
  • Overseeing the online Security Awareness Training modules and provides ad-hoc education to staff.
  • Publishing internal security advisories and educational bulletins.
  • Acting as point of contact for internal inquiries regarding information security, notifies staff of security related updates via internal communication channels.
What Youll Have:
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in business, social sciences, or computer science.
  • Have a demonstrated ability to learn and succeed in a fast-paced, technical environment with changing priorities.
  • Possess critical thinking and analytical ability.
  • Have advanced interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written), proficiency in English.
  • Deeply understand information security concepts and IT functions.
  • Have experience auditing in cloud environments, familiarity with AWS and serverless environments.
  • Hold knowledge of privacy frameworks including GDPR, CCPA, COPPA, and the BC Privacy Act.
  • Are well versed in IT audit standards such as SOC2, HIPAA and ISO27001.
  • Are detail oriented and highly organized (experience in project management is considered an asset).
Bonus Points If You Have:
  • CISA, CISM, CISSP, or similar certifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in building scalable business processes across departments.
  • Familiarity with the Market Research industry.
