We believe in doing things differently here at Article and we are always working to improve our processes so we are looking for someone with an ownership mindset and is interested in gaining experience working with the latest and greatest in technology in order to remove bottlenecks for our Particles (people of Article). This will be a 8 month paid internship which will begin on September 1st and end in the fall of 2022.In this hybrid role, you’ll typically be onsite 4 days a week so you can work closely with our IT team.

• You will be partnering with our IT specialists to ensure that systems and services are ready and operational for production use
• You’ll be supporting with operational improvements such as developing scripts to automate and review existing services and procedures

This is an exciting opportunity as you’ll also be the first point of contact for any technical issues so it’s important that you have a deep interest in technology and are motivated to make a difference in a growing IT team.What Youll Do

• Supporting in onboarding/offboarding employees (i.e setting up laptops for new Particles and coordinating laptop pick up)
• Provide assistance to both onsite and remote operations
• Contribute to daily operational tasks, including managing inventory, and general troubleshooting
• Ensure conference rooms are fully operational and ready to use by employees
• Respond to tier 1 tickets for internal customers having problems with software, hardware and associated peripheral devices
• Create detailed documentation for Admin workbook and User knowledge base portal
• Participate in project work and operational support, as necessary.
• Assist as needed with work on systems and SaaS application

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

• Knowledge and awareness of Windows 10 & MacOS
• Basic knowledge of computer hardware and networking is a plus
• I think it goes without saying this role will need to have someone who is a good communicator!
• Knowledge of the Google Apps and MS Office suite of products (Google Sheet, Doc, Slides/ Microsoft Word, Excel, etc.)
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently on separate initiatives
• Hunger and willingness to learn new technologies and processes
• Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds
