You are a strong communicator and enjoy working with a variety of stakeholders on projects while supporting administrative and operational tasks.Youre ready to join us as we explore and shape how Vancouver Foundation might do even more to align justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion with our culture and our mission.About the PositionThis position reports to the Senior Manager, Systems & Digital Engagement, Information Technology and is responsible for supporting the administrative function of the Information Technology (IT) department as well as supporting organization-wide system and process improvements.Main Responsibilities

  • Provide IT admin support including department expense management, financial tracking, and budget reporting.
  • Support onboarding of new staff in collaboration with IT Service Partner.
  • Plan and oversee projects and support project managers with communications and planning, reporting, and tracking financials.
  • Communicate with department stakeholders to understand and gather user requirements.
  • Develop and analyze functional specifications for IT projects.
  • Gather feedback from end users about system performance and training needs.
  • Prepare reports and dashboards that further department development and pipeline activities.
  • Liaise with IT service partners to clarify reporting requirements and to track performance metrics in-line with Service Agreements and Contracts.
  • Support development of new IT methods and solutions for the Foundation while staying abreast of best practices and nonprofit trends.
  • Advise management on technology and/or process gaps, risks, and avenues for improvement with respect to the Foundations IT infrastructure.
  • Support key stakeholders on how to best align IT systems with Foundation objectives.
  • Coordinate, deliver, and evaluate support & training for various IT solutions and needs.
  • Support & coordinate for the Data Governance Council, Super User Group(s), IT Steering Committee, etc. as required.
  • Project coordination and analysis for IT initiatives.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Desired Experience/Education/SkillsEducation and Experience
  • 1 to 3 years of experience in an IT-related position, not-for-profit experience preferred.
  • Some experience in project coordination and business analysis preferred.
  • Salesforce experience preferred.
  • A bachelors degree.
  • Understanding of business practices.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Knowledge of systems design, reporting, documentation & implementation.
  • Interested in the latest developments in the information technology.
  • Ability to work independently and knowledge of agile team structures.

AccountabilityThis position reports to the Senior Manager, Systems & Digital Engagement, Information Technology.Salary$56,430.00 plus a generous and comprehensive benefits package.
