Rival TechnologiesAre you a Data Detective Do you love bringing data to life by creating visualizations and infographics or just getting your hands dirty digging through data to find trends Rival Technologies is looking for a creative Junior Insights Analyst to join our team full time. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent post-secondary graduate who is passionate about using real-life data, finding ways to automate reporting using the latest analytic tools, and evaluating processes to find efficiencies for ongoing reporting. If you love working with various reporting tools, enjoy a fast-paced Startup environment, and want to work with some of the world’s most innovative brands, this job is for you!Under the direction of the Director of Customer Success and the Chief Methodologist, you will both help to analyze and deliver research results to our roster of clients and help with internal data tracking initiatives. You will explore ways to automate data wrangling and cleaning from diverse data sources, look for ways to enhance and efficiently deliver data analysis to quickly identify insights and trends. Your ultimate goal will be to support the continued growth of our member base and to increase member engagement and satisfaction.   • Support the Customer Success team with client deliverables and tracking client community metrics over time.
  • Support the Customer Success team with client projects using our proprietary platform.
  • Create of data tables, visualizations, interactive dashboards and PowerPoint reports with research results.
  • Internal metric tracking across clients.
  • Track social media results and spend over time and reporting on findings internally.
  • Proactively seek out work to accomplish team goals by picking up unassigned tasks or assisting other team members on their outstanding tasks.
  • Assist where needed on a variety of research and data-related tasks.
  • Research and investigate new data tools and processes to promote cutting-edge industry practices.
  • Be a catalyst for change and improvement on the Customer Success Team.
What youll have:
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field (e.g. a statistics, mathematics and/or data science for market research).
  • Bonus points for having experience in or having done course work in research methodology and/or data analysis for market research.
  • Experience in qualitative/quantitative data analysis and assessment.
  • Proven ability to relay detailed data analysis in a simple, practical and time-sensitive manner.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite of applications and advanced skills with Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Working knowledge of analysis tools such as SPSS, R, DisplayR, Q, Power BI, etc. are a big plus.
  • A results-focused mindset with the ability to think strategically.
  • Track record of translating analyses to action items.
  • Experience utilizing a range of qualitative and quantitative research methods, designing research projects, and reporting results is preferred.
  • Excellent time management, effective communication, attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Superior skills with web-based technologies and demonstrated aptitude with information and communication technologies in general.
  • Ability to multitask and shift priorities on short notice.
  • A great attitude and willingness to learn and get your hands dirty (not literally!).
