If you are looking for a future career in hospitality, then Northland Properties is for you.Responsibilities:Provide support for customer requests, analyze problems and escalate issues when necessaryCommunicate technical information to nontechnical usersOn call rotation required for afterhours emergency supportTroubleshoot desktop and printer hardware and software issues; resolve issues to the end user's satisfactionInstall, configure, and test all new workstations, peripheral equipment, and softwareTroubleshoot LAN/WAN and connectivity issuesExperience Requirements:Possess a minimum of one (1) year of experience in the resolution of issues related to desktop, servers, applications or network systems in a Windows environmentStrong troubleshooting and problem solving skillsStrong desire to learn in a fast-paced environment and work within a team of likeminded individualsExcellent communication skills both written and verbalProven experience supporting Windows based environmentMicrosoft Windows Server family support experience in a Domain environmentFunctional knowledge of Network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCPBeneficial to have:Experience working in a ticketing system with detailed note taking skillsMicrosoft Office 365 support experienceWorking knowledge of virtualization technologies including Hyper-V and VMwareExperience with SonicWALL, Dell, Cisco, Ubiquiti or Meraki networking equipmentExperience supporting admin networks with multiple hospitality software (Maestro/Opera/POSI/Ving etc)Customer service experienceEducation:A university degree, diploma in computer science or related IT certificatesMicrosoft certification(s) MCSA or MCITPCISCO certifications(s) CCNARequirements:Travel to corporate locations throughout CanadaVancouver basedSUMMATION:Submission of resume does not guarantee an interview or an actual transfer.
