Job Description

Junior IT Support AnalystAt WineDirect we offer a full range of Direct-to-Consumer services to wineries, including ecommerce, point-of-sale, and order fulfillment. As a Junior IT Support Analyst at our Vancouver Location.At WineDirect, our goal is to be the Winerys Champion. The junior IT will work within the IT team to ensure the continued availability and operation of the IT infrastructure at WineDirect. The candidates main responsibility is the support of over 200 users across North America, Canada, and Australia. The junior IT support analyst will take ownership of workstation management, and helpdesk support at WineDirect. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, solution-oriented, and have a good track record of getting things done.What youll be doing:

  • Support employees in all offices with technical inquiries via phone, email, desk-side or remote access.
  • Managing the ticket queue constantly throughout the day.
  • Work within our ticketing system and maintain clear and concise documentation of all incidents.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues, primarily on end-user laptop and desktop equipment.
  • Identify priorities and escalate problems to appropriate resources.
  • Install, configure, support, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and network connectivity.
  • Support the new user setup and termination process for employees, assist in the training of new hires.
  • Develop reference and training materials and provide end-user training.
  • Ensure privacy, security, and protection of all applications and systems.
  • Work with the System Administrators as required.
  • Have a keen interest in new technology, security protocols, and efficiencies in operations.
  • Participate in the evaluation and implementation of ITIL best-practice operational processes.
Who you are:
  • 1 to 2 years experience in desktop support within an enterprise environment Education / degrees
  • Diploma in Computer Science or Information Systems.
  • IT designation preferred. (ITIL, A+, CompTIA, MCSA, etc.)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, ability to explain technical problems to a non-technical audience.
  • Knowledge of Windows and Apple operating systems.
  • Experience supporting enterprise applications Office 365, Salesforce, Teams, JIRA, SharePoint, etc.
  • Able to multi-task, work independently with minimal supervision as well as within a team environment; along with receiving remote coordination and management.
  • Experience providing IT technical support to senior leaders of an organization.
  • Some basic understanding of network hardware, protocols, and standards, including DNS, Active Directory, TCP/IP.
