At Oyama Sausage, we make over 400 products, including sausages, salamis, cold cuts, prosciuttos and pates. We are constantly innovating to make new items and flavours for our Vancouver clientele.At our commercial kitchen facility, we have a small team of dedicated employees that make these products from start to finish. As the Production Assistant, you will be assisting in the production of these items and learning the craft.Principal duties are:- preparing ingredients for production (cutting meat, herbs, etc.)- assisting with production- assisting with cooking and smoking products- packaging- delivering products to store- assisting with plant clean-upOur commercial kitchen is located in South Vancouver - Marpole area (about 10 min from skytrain). Physical work - lifting required.4 day work week: shifts Monday - Thursday, 5:30am- approx. 4pm.Valid BC drivers license an asset. Foodsafe an asset. Excellent work environment, small diligent crew.
