Linux System AdministratorAs a Linux Sysadmin you are responsible for ensuring that our infrastructure and supporting systems are designed, implemented, and operated in a high-performing, scalable manner. Having critical thinking and respecting the delivery life-cycle is critical to the role, as is the desire to define and implement infrastructure as code (IaC).Industry experience is important, but so are your demonstrated skills and attitudes. You will be mentoring team members in conjunction with the department leader, so the desire to share knowledge, mentor and demonstrate humility are keys to success in this position.The ideal candidate identifies as a knowledgeable, hands-on sysadmin, who is both a "jack of all trades" while possessing deep knowledge in multiple areas of infrastructure as code, Linux/Unix systems administration, networking, internet protocols, LAMP, distributed systems, and infrastructure monitoring, security and reliability. You will be able to write scripted solutions both for deploying code and infrastructure (IaC). As well as be an expert in troubleshooting / diagnosing networks, firewalls, and other infrastructure-related issues. You will also need experience implementing enterprise-grade monitoring solutions.What Youll Do
