Job Description

Rove Concepts is currently on the search for a Logistics Coordinator to join our growing team. We are looking for a meticulous individual with an enthusiastic and motivated personality to help our business grow.With great exposure to much of the business operations, the successful candidate will receive a deepened knowledge and understanding of the logistics and supply chain side of the business. We are people focused and love to train the right candidate, so if you believe you have the characteristics listed below, wed love to hear from you!Kindly note that our operations are 7 days a week, including public holidays and weekends, all candidates are considered on open availability.What youll do: As an International Logistics Coordinator, you will be part of the team that monitors the outbound logistics in several overseas areas (namely South Korea, Australia). In this dynamic role, you will be tasked with handling all types of inquiries through multiple channels including emails and phone calls.

  • Work together with the Logistics Coordinator in shipping orders out and day-to-day tasks related to the department
  • Liaise between the customer care team members and carrier representatives on individual files to resolve any shipping issues and/or inquiries
  • Work and follow up with carriers to determine estimated shipping times and dates and relay them to related parties
  • Ensuring customer service team and logistics partners have a quick response time by staying on top of your assigned tickets, with same-day ticket review
  • Demonstrating conflict resolution and interpersonal skills in order to help the customer service team find the best solutions for the customers
  • Be the in-house go-to person for the Logistics team regarding processes and procedures
  • Assist in documentation and organization of departmental information
  • Other ad hoc duties may apply
  • Must speak English fluently
  • Work hours: Monday to Friday 2.30pm-11pm (PST). The first 2 weeks of training will be between Monday to Friday 12pm-8pm (PST).
What youll need:
  • 2+ years in customer service and/or in an office environment
  • A post-secondary degree, certificate, diploma or equivalent; concentration in transportation logistics, operations or similar as an asset
  • An interest in Logistics of an eCommerce business;
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Extreme detail-orientation and great multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize
  • Able to analyze data, utilize problem-solving skills, and recommend solutions
  • Able to balance being self-managed and being part of a team
  • Personal interest in the furniture or design industry an asset
