While maintaining a commitment to the highest-quality resort experience, Shearwater is being transformed into a haven for eco-tourism, culturally enriched experiences, and a top tier service marina for the Central Coast. Our service and customer support is paramount and sheAs a leader in the marina’s works department, you will work on site to ensure that the day-to-day operations of the boatyard, gas station and other marina maintenance and service operations were run in a safe and effective manor. We believe that everything is connected, and so do you. The ideal candidate will walk with us to ensure the marina is fully operational to high standard, while also building the workforce that carries Shearwater into the coming decades.We are looking for someone available to start this season, brings professionalism to the role, and:· Manages a staff of up to 10 service technicians and boatyard helpers· Co-develops and independently manages skills training plans for the marina team.· Coordinates and execute service plans for docked and inbound vessels in a timely manor and to a high degree of customer satisfaction.· Ensures that the marina’s works operations are run in a efficient and professional manner, with a high commitment to staff, customer, and environmental safety.· Understand and resolve diverse technical needs for marine vessels of varying size and complexity.· Lead, coach, and motivate the team to grow as Service Technicians and customer service agents· Address customer complaints and concerns that have been escalated in a timely and professional manner· Works closely with the Marina’s management team and executives to ensure that the operation of the marina achieves a high degree of customer satisfaction while matching or exceeding the stewardship and other goals laid out by Shearwater’s board.· Enjoys the rural Coastal lifestyle and the joys it can bring.Your Qualifications & Skills· Marine service experience – boat maintenance, new build, repair, or other related: 5 years (required)· Customer Service: 3 Years (preferred)· Management: 3 years (preferred)· Personal passion for Coastal waterways and lands.· Enjoy working within a team.· 5-10 years of boatyard operations experience with a diversity of vessels.· Ability to work across a culturally diverse team to maximize all employee’s potential.· Demonstrated capacity for boat service, maintenance, and repairs.Job Type: Full-timeSalary: $31,300.00-$65,000.00 per yearBenefits:
