OVERVIEWBard on the Beach is WesternCanada’s largest professional Shakespeare festival, with a focus on providingaccessible, inclusive, and vibrant theatrical works to the public. The Festivalpresents Shakespeare plays, related dramas and special events from June toSeptember in two modern theatre tents, in the magnificent waterfront setting of Sen̓ákw/Vanier Park. Fulldetails here.position summary – YOUR ROLE AT BARDAs Marketing Coordinator, you will be part of a teamof arts marketing professionals in a fast-paced and creative environment. Youwill be responsible for coordination and production of select print &digital materials; the line management of the Festival’s social media channels,negotiating and maintaining B2B marketing partnerships with a focus on thetourism & arts sector; coordinating the department’s tracking documents& processes; and managing and sometimes creating digital assets. You’ll also be part of anenergetic, collaborative and open-hearted Bard staff team that is deeply committed to upholdingand advancing Bard’s Company Commitments.ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPYou’ll report tothe Director of Marketing and Communications.
