Location:Vancouver, British Columbia, CA Edmonton, AB, CA Calgary, AB, CAReq ID: 20652Jobs by Category: Sales and MarketingJob Function: MarketingStatus: Full TimeSchedule: RegularPosition Overview:As part of Channel People Enablement, the Field Adoption and Reinforcement team works closely with TELUS Retail Limited (TRL) Corporate Store Managers and Sales Representatives to build their confidence and increase performance through every customer interaction.Our team is integral to Corporate stores’ success as strategic business partners who consult, coach and develop our store team members across multiple brands. We drive measurable business and marketing priorities through tactical and engaging field connections while acting as a liaison for Corporate Stores bringing relevant in store experiences and feedback to stakeholder groups in head office.Join our team!This is your opportunity to lead a super engaged, ambitious and all around awesome team. You will contribute to evolving our strategy, fostering cross-functional relationships and elevating the scope and success of the team.Bringing your inspirational leadership toolkit, youll coach and develop team members, deliver on a significant portfolio of work, while being a trusted partner to our sales leaders.Responsibilities:

  • Field partnership
    • Cultivate strong relationships with the field leadership team to partner and coach towards objectives and performance targets
    • Intimately understand regional market and team nuances to best support TRL priorities
  • Team leadership and collaboration
    • Coach, develop and build the skills and abilities of the team
    • Foster a positive team culture to drive success, credibility, personal growth and spirited teamwork
    • Manage team operations efficiently ensuring CMR understanding of work at hand, expectations and fielding any insights or feedback
    • Collaborate with your Marketing Manager peers for consistency and excellence across regions nationally, partnering to interlock strategies and strong communication are key to team success
  • Support a diverse portfolio of work
    • Drive adoption and understanding of key Channel programs, TELUS products and/or TRL Priorities through analysis, identifying opportunities and planning
    • Proactively look for and execute creative ideas to innovate existing process or programs
    • Work cross-functionally towards successful completion of program initiatives with positive outcomes
    • Analyze program KPIs to understand performance, opportunities and success then report to team and key stakeholders
Required Skills & Abilities:
  • Demonstrated success in people leadership, building team culture with a solid coaching track record
  • Excellent priority management skills with proven success in developing and managing multiple programs/priorities simultaneously
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to develop business relationships that can be leveraged to partner and influence
  • Proficient in channel business and store operations
  • Ability to drive performance with measurable outcomes and identifying success factors
  • Adaptability within a fast-paced, changing work environment
  • Confidence to act as a channel liaison to ensure that channel programs, organizational marketing and sales activities coincide
  • Exemplary initiative and problem solving skills
  • Strong analysis and business planning skills
  • Flexible schedule with ability to travel 25-50% of the time and work around store operational hours. Valid drivers license and access to a vehicle
Required Experience and/or professional designation:
  • Bachelors’ degree and/or equivalent industry experience
  • Background in Marketing or Business is preferred
  • Minimum 3-5 years in channel sales or support role
  • Minimum 3-5 years in Telecom or operational and/or technical environment
  • Experience leading a team in a channel sales environment
  • Bi-lingual
