Job Description

In a newly created position, the part-time Marketing Coordinator supports the growth of BC’s largest Property Management company through effective brand communications and marketing initiatives. The position works in close partnership with the President, Senior Vice President and business development team and offers an engaging balance of content development and review for internal and external stakeholders combined with virtual and physical event coordination and brand management.The role can be delivered on a hybrid or remote basis; the successful candidate must be able to attend in-person internal, client, vendor and industry events in Vancouver, British Columbia on a regular basis, including occasional evening events.This permanent part-time role will require availability for 16 hours per week, with possibility of up to 20hrs depending on demand. Scheduled hours must be worked during core business hours 8:30-5pm, worked during at least three weekdays, for example: Monday to Thursday, 11am to 3pm. Due to some events taking place in the evenings, flexibility for occasional evening hours is required.Please ensure to include a link to your portfolio, or samples of your recently related work with your application.Responsibilities:

  • Drafting, collating and updating presentation decks, pitch documents, welcome packages and other materials representing FirstService Residential BC to clients, potential clients, internal stakeholders and the public. Responsible for maintaining brand standards for templates, letters etc.
  • Assisting with marketing material for the townhome and rental units divisions such as: brochures, flyers, advertising.
  • Reviewing proposed business development webinar marketing. Assisting the regional marketing team in the coordination and delivery of successful events.
  • Proactively managing our competition watchlist through research and data reporting. Responsible for local brand management (e.g., Google review responses).
  • Maintaining a marketing contact list of premium vendors, clients etc. and planning meetings and events to engage them, including: liaising with sponsors, charitable partners, industry, arranging reservations, food and beverage as needed. Coordinates client recognition gifts and events, including developer gifts and holiday planning
  • Acts as the key contact / organizer for charitable events e.g., Canuck Place Campaign; Charity Golf Tournaments etc.
Experience: The ideal candidate brings 2+ years experience in B2B and B2C digital marketing / communications within real estate, construction or development, or a related area where relationships are held with business and consumer clients as well as trades. They bring extensive experience preparing exceptionally professional materials, templates and presentations. They will be hands-on, and enjoy a diverse role where they own local initiatives and collaborate with internal teams, leaders and subject matter experts.
