Job Description

Office Administrator required for fast paced downtown Vancouver law firm. Must be highly organized and able to work well under pressure. Strong communication skills are essential.Minimum 3-4 years of previous work experience in an office setting is required.Responsibilities: 1. Oversee and co-ordinate office administrative procedures and review, evaluate and implement new procedures with an emphasis on filing systems2. Establish work priorities with administrative assistants, legal assistants and paralegals to ensure deadlines are met3. Co-ordinating and plan office services4. Scheduling appointments, meeting and greeting clients5. Opening and closing client files6. Ordering office supplies, as necessary7. Managing client data8. Co-ordinate with service providers9. Assist paralegals with files when required10. Train and supervise new staff members11. Other tasks, as requestedThe ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience: 1. Diploma or Degree in Business Administration or a related field2. Impeccable verbal and written communication skills in English3. Excellent interpersonal skills, combined with a high level of professionalism4. Proactive with a strong attention to detail5. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint)6. Exemplary customer service skills7. Minimum of 5 years of previous experience in an administrative role is required8.
