Our internal facing team collaborates with the PwC product teams to help operationalize, deploy and automate our technology products. Our team provides white-glove support and runs, operates and maintains the product with the highest level of standards.The position is part of the Office Technology Services team within the Products & Technology IT Operations organization. The primary objective for this role focuses on partnering with our internal customers to provide technology support and consultation services related to hardware and application usage and process automation. You may occasionally travel between offices to resolve issues or support major projects or deployments, and remotely support other offices in Canada. This role requires participation in the local office pager support program and occasional after-hours maintenance, troubleshooting and testing.You will work closely with IT functional teams (i.e. Service Managers, Product/Service Owners) to ensure that on-site office support service is maintained and supported to meet the service level expectations of the CA PwC partners and staff. You will be expected to provide advice and recommendations on a continuous basis on ways to optimize and improve operational and cost effectiveness of the service delivery function.What to consider before applying

Purpose-led work you’ll be part ofAs an Office Support Specialist, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:On-Site Technology Support (80%)
  • The Office Support Specialist will assume responsibility for on-site technology support
  • Work to resolve any incidents on a timely basis; this may involve after-hours support.
  • Provide after-hours support as required
  • Liaise with key stakeholders and 2nd/3rd level support staff (external vendors, users, IT staff, and Global support teams) as well as end-users
  • Quickly grasp new technologies and share knowledge openly including contributing to knowledge repositories
  • The Office Support Specialist will contribute to and participate in the delivery of customer education programs, communicating technical information appropriate to audiences at varying computer skill levels
  • Demonstrate strong verbal and listening skills to liaise with local stakeholders and understand and improve their technology experience
  • Identify and deliver continuous process improvements to facilitate a consistent and positive customer experience through process simplification, automation and issue elimination
  • Collaborate and work remotely with others in your team to achieve common goals and maintain harmony
  • The Office Support Specialist will assist customers with the use of data analytics and automation tools
Projects (20%)
  • The Office Support Specialist will provide subject matter expertise as required to project teams
  • Hands-on experience leading and managing projects following a structured project management methodology and approach
  • Be able to effectively lead and manage concurrent projects and activities
  • Works cross-functionally with team members within the P&T group as appropriate to facilitate the roll-out and deployment of applications
  • Provide support to other IT Functional team members during the planning, development and execution of technology solutions
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
  • Technical experience supporting hardware and stand-alone and networked applications in a large environment
  • Experience with procedures for incident, request and asset management as outlined by the organization and ITIL methodology to achieve desired SLA and KPI results
  • Experience using data analytic and automation applications is a benefit
  • Experience supporting a variety of audio-video and video conference equipment is an asset
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, time-management and interpersonal skills
  • Windows, Mac, iOS and Android operating systems
  • Laptop and Printer troubleshooting and repair
  • Office productivity tools, Google apps preferred (document, spreadsheet and presentation software)
  • Good Understanding of Active Directory and Windows Server management including applying OS and security updates
  • A demonstrated commitment to valuing differences and working alongside diverse people and perspectives
