Job Description

THE ROLEThe role of the Operations Coordinator (OC) will be to liaise with internal and external parties to manage and coordinate the inflow of product, inventory levels and accuracy, and other general operational needs. The OC will work with multiple departments including Sales, Ecommerce, Product, Marketing, Retail and Finance to assist in Domestic and International objectives, procedures and reporting.*A DAY IN THE LIFE*Our workplace is dynamic, supportive and entrepreneurial in spirit, and we pride ourselves in being a collaborative, open-minded and imaginative team.On a day-to-day basis, the OC will:

  • Work closely with Sales to ensure that all critical production schedules and start ship requirements are adhered to and customer requests are met
  • Communicate crucial information regarding timelines, shortages/overages, and other key occurrences to the Sales operations team accordingly
  • Work together with the local and international Operations & global warehouse teams to ensure incoming shipments are received in a timely manner and corresponding information is communicated to all required parties
  • Coordinating & maintaining all shipment tracking documents and related documents and files in an accurate, organized and easy to access manner
  • Resolving inventory problems in a timely manner for the operations, product and factory team as needed
  • Assist in managing all inventory across multiple sites. This includes International and North America warehouses
  • Ensure all inventory is accurate and up to date and adjusted accordingly where needed
  • Ensure accuracy of receiving and inventory both in domestic and international operations, and work with corresponding internal or external parties to investigate and reconcile any discrepancies
  • Work with the Retail Team to coordinate inventory replenishments and key seasonal rollouts at our retails stores
  • Coordinate with the Product, Sales and Factory teams to manage Salesman Sample logistics to our reps and partners
  • Assist with year-end physical count processes and cycle counting processes
  • Continue to seek effective and efficient ways to improve day to day operational objectives to further work towards customer excellence
  • Work collaboratively with other teams within the Operations department
*YOUR QUALIFICATIONS*
  • Minimum 2 years experience in Operations or relevant Supply Chain role
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in logistics/supply chain management preferred
  • Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Sales platform (B2B) experience, Warehouse Management (WMS) experience is an asset
  • Intermediate knowledge of MS Excel required
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical and collaborative skills
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills
  • Ability to locate and organize key data into streamlined and informative reports for internal and external parties
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills; ability to work effectively under time constraints and deliver results by critical deadlines
  • Highly detail oriented with the ability to be self directed in completion of tasks
