ORDER MANAGEMENT, ORDER ROUTING AND LOGISTICS COORDINATOR - FULL TIMEAbacus Brands is a children’s toy company with a focus on educational products!Our products can be found in Costco, Indigo, Walmart, Amazon and retailers around the world, and recently WINNER OF TOY OF THE YEAR for best Educational Toy 2022! We have partnered with licenses like Bill Nye (The Science Guy), MasterChef Junior, Smithsonian, Penn & Teller, DK books and more as we push our creative engine to make learning fun!We are in the growth stage, and looking for a hands-on ORDER PROCESSING COORDINATOR, WITH LOGISTICS UNDERSTANDING TO PROCESS AND SHIP ORDERS.This is the perfect opportunity for anyone looking to expand their skills and grow into a full-time operations, logistics, or senior administrative role.A typical day consists of:- Receiving and acknowledging ordersOrders come in via our order management platform, email, or via our online store, and get entered into our ERP (accounting software).- Shipping goodsOrders are processed and sent to our warehouse, where shipping instructions are given with details (labels, carton markings, etc) to ensure prompt delivery of goods.- Arrange Pickup/Logistics Arrange, book and coordinate pickup with various freight and trucking companies in order to dispatch the pickup of goods from our facility.- Document preparationInvolved in commercial invoicing, or bill of lading (BOL) in order for goods to be moved or accepted by carriers. You must also be able to invoice the customer after shipment or communicate to our controller of invoicing needs after every shipment.- Routing WizardYou will learn various shipping portals to ensure you can route orders via different channels and retailers, like Walmart, Costco, Target, Nordstroms and more!EducationUniversity Degree related to: Supply Chain & Purchasing, Quality Systems, Operations & Logistics or similar.Qualifications and skills: - Thrives on building and establishing new systems and processes- Strong attention to detail- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills- Proven to work with cross-functional teams- Effective negotiation and personal skills- Enjoys working in a growing, evolving, entrepreneurial environment- Strong English communication skills, written and oral- Team player with a “can do” attitude- ERP experience a plus.- EDI experience a HUGE plus- Able to navigate through google drive, google sheets etc.- Comfortable to work in Apple environment- Comfortable with MS Office, Outlook, Excel, Word etc.Benefits & Perks: We truly feel that happy employees make the best employees!
