We create amazing sports watches, then distribute them throughout Canada and overseas. We also provide unmatched after-sales service for our growing customer base. We have a committed team of 8 people in our Vancouver office -- most long-term.Our products are sold through our ecommerce shop to customers in the US, Canada and all over the world. Our line is also sold in leading specialty watch shops, sports/outdoor dealers, in dive shops, as well as to many First Responder, Police and Fire Department teams, numerous catalogues and online retailers.We take the time to make top quality, innovative products, carefully sourcing the best components from all over the world, and doing the final assembly and quality control right here in Vancouver. We favour non-disposable products and love to get out and be active.WHAT THE JOB IS:We are seeking an enthusiastic individual with good attention to detail, to be responsible for packing, shipping and managing all incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments through our Vancouver office. If you have a positive and outgoing personality, there is a possibility to also fill a customer service role by email and phone: this could increase the potential hours available each week.Key position responsibilities include:

  • Work in conjunction our entire team in assembly, customer service and purchasing.
  • Handling regular dealer shipments and a rapidly growing number of individual web orders.
  • Notifying supervisor if shipping supplies need replenishment
  • Receiving, documenting and organizing all incoming deliveries
  • Work with Purchasing to manage and control inventory
  • Work with customer service and sales to ensure all orders are shipped accurately and on time
  • Communicate effectively with customers and dealers to ensure smooth delivery of all orders.
  • Completing paperwork for inventory receipts and transfers, export orders, etc.
  • Handling customer questions and inquiries, mostly by email, but also occasionally by phone.
WHO YOU ARE:The ideal candidate should have some experience shipping and receiving and have the following characteristics:
  • Detail-oriented and analytical; high degree of accuracy
  • Able to manage priorities and consistently meet deadlines
  • Methodical and sees tasks through to conclusion
  • Strong organizational and decision making skills
  • Effective interpersonal, customer service and communication skills
  • Able to stand for periods of time and to lift up to 25kg occasionally- although most work is with very small packages weighing < 1KG.
It would be great if you had the following assets:
  • Solid computer skills in Excel and Word
