Come grow with us!Job SummaryGeoComply is seeking a self-motivated, organized, and customer-service driven Paralegal to join our busy and growing Legal team to support our commercial, corporate and other legal operations. The Paralegal will play a key role in helping the company manage its contracting processes that are critical for its continued growth and will contribute to other legal tasks and projects. This person will ideally be located in one of GeoComply’s primary North American hubs (Vancouver, Las Vegas, Montreal, and New York City); but we will consider excellent remote candidatesWhat You Will Be Doing

  • Support the legal team in all phases of the commercial contracting process, including drafting, revising, executing, storing, maintaining, and reporting on contracts
  • Ensure every phase of the contracting process complies with company policies and procedures
  • Administer the company’s contract management system (Ironclad), including with respect to contract migration, data entry and quality control
  • Manage and maintain commercial legal repositories, including templates, forms, executed agreements, version control documentation, and other materials
  • Develop, manage, administer and improve various contract process workflows, including with respect to customer, vendor and non-disclosure agreements
  • Liaise with sophisticated internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and execution of contracts and other legal documentation
  • Communicate effectively and professionally with team members at all levels (including management and executive leadership) while delivering outstanding customer service
  • Assist colleagues where necessary to provide support on various business development and administrative projects and assignments
  • Provide paralegal support in other areas, such as corporate, privacy and intellectual property matters
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree, paralegal diploma, legal administration diploma, or equivalent or other relevant education and training
  • 5+ years of experience as a paralegal or contracts manager, with experience in contract management, contract management systems, and contract review, supporting commercial legal operations or attornies with a strong commercial solicitor’s practice
  • This person will ideally be located in one of GeoComply’s primary North American hubs (Vancouver, Las Vegas, Montreal, and New York City); but we will consider excellent remote candidates
  • Experience working with an in-house legal team, ideally in a high growth tech company setting, is strongly preferred
  • Experience with review and drafting a variety of contracts and other legal documents of varying complexity with increasing levels of independence
  • Tech-savvy, and willingness to learn and ability to adapt to new technologies
  • Self-motivated with a high degree of accountability
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills
  • Strong organizational skills and strict attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritize workload independently, work under pressure and multi-task on a wide variety of projects with minimal supervision
  • Tact, integrity, and discretion; ability to work with and process confidential information with sensitivity
Bonus Points if You
  • Have experience working in the iGaming, online sports betting, anti-fraud, or cybersecurity industries
  • Have experience supporting the sales and business development functions in a technology company
  • Have experience working with Google Workspace, Ironclad, Jira, and/or Confluence
