Job Description

Position: Payroll AdministratorReports to ControllerResponsible forInternational payroll processing and reportingLocationRemote / HybridAbout the Role: We are looking for a Payroll Administrator to expand our growing Finance Team! Reporting to the Controller, you will be responsible for running full cycle international payroll, reporting and other financial administration with relation to payroll.About NettwerkNettwerk Music Group is a full-service artist development and music intellectual property brand builder with a history spanning nearly 40 years. We’re looking for inspired, skilled and energetic people to help us deliver on that promise.Role Responsibilities:

  • Full cycle international payroll processing including monthly and semi-monthly for our International employees in the US, Canada, UK, Germany and Australia (PEO)
  • Support international employees with payroll inquiries in a friendly and timely manner
  • Reconciling and prepare all monthly international payroll JE’s for finance team including verifying variable input totals
Administer employee benefits program and maintain employee database with benefit providers; including enrolling and terminating employees, reconciling benefits and preparing payments to respective agencies such as Justworks, Simply Benefits etc . Audit all international new hire payroll documents to ensure the information is complete and accurate for payroll processing
  • Preparation and review of employee/employer year end payroll forms/filings for the international payrolls
  • Prepare various government reports for filing as required
  • Prepare monthly payroll journal entries and monthly reconciliations for General Ledger accounts
  • Prepare annual compensation communications for all employees from information provided by Director, People Ops
  • Prepare quarterly and annual WorksafeBC reconciliations
  • Preparing termination payments for employees in a timely accurate manner including vacation calculation payout for international payrolls
  • Maintain confidentiality in all matters
  • Other duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Must have relevant experience with full cycle international payroll processing, Canadian Payroll Association PCP certification, or working towards, and a diploma or a degree in Accounting, Business or Finance or equivalent experience
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience with HRIS systems

  • Ability to handle sensitive and highly confidential material
  • Solid working knowledge of employment legislation
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles considered an asset
  • Strong technical skills and advanced knowledge of Excel
