To support us on our journey, we are seeking diverse, purpose-lead people to join our team.Get ready to celebrate global wellness with us.DescriptionThe Saje in-house photographer and videographer produces content (still, animation and video) for our omni-channels working closely with the Creative Director and team to create engaging content. They facilitate all product imagery – in studio, on set, staged, flat lays and product. These are the visuals that will be utilized across channel in all marketing and sales materials. This role’s purpose is to create content that inspires and connects with new and current consumers.The role is ideally suited for someone who thrives working in a fast paced environment shooting as well as editing content to accurately reflect the brand for marketing collateral including advertising campaigns, social media initiatives, digital marketing and event content, and e-commerce.Through day to day functions, the Photographer/Videographer contributes to maintaining and strengthening Saje’s culture; proactively engaging in behaviours that align with Saje’s values: Wellness, Growth, Celebration, Greatness and Belonging.Responsibilities

  • Capture product photography and video this includes; animations, hero photography, flat lays, and environmental with product and people
  • Responsible for capturing high quality product and people in fun, brand friendly moments both candid and on some occasions staged that align with Saje Brand Standards.
  • Work closely with our producer to create shoot day efficiencies.
  • Responsible for capturing content for advertising campaigns
  • Responsible for all photographic and video content from start to finish including capturing content and editing for the needs of output.
  • Identify studio/department upgrades to keep content professional and on-brand
  • Work collaboratively across the marketing department to ensure needs are captured
  • Facilitate and actively participate in the review of contact sheets and final selects.
  • Maintain editing, processing, retouching, color correcting, and archiving all files in an organized manner.
  • Work effectively (efficient, collaborative, calm) in high pressure situations.
  • Conduct photo research for features; produce shoots across all verticals.
  • Assist with visual direction for print-to-web production.
  • Work directly with editors to maintain digital content across multiple verticals.
  • Ensure needed assets for web crops, web clips, and YouTube videos
Applicant Requirements
  • 2-5 years of relevant work experience
  • An undergraduate degree in photography and/or video
  • Knowledge of digital, social, and video content.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute to content decisions and develop visual stories across all platforms.
  • Ability to travel for various assignments and shoots.
  • Can creatively translate the needs of the brands and client into high quality output through a detailed understanding of the requirements of the platform including; e-comm, retail, and digital.
  • Experience working collaboratively with a design team and Creative Director
  • Experience and best practices as they relate to: still, animation and motion graphics, production and editing
  • Experience in Adobe Suite; specifically Lightroom and Bridge; Premier Pro and After Affects.
