Overview:WildBrain is looking for a Post Production Coordinator to join our team! In this role, you are a key component to the success of the Animation and Editorial departments. We’re looking for a problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and who is incredibly organized and highly communicative. We’d love to hear from you! #stayhomestaysafe!Responsibilities:This position reports to the post supervisor on the show(s) you’re assignedWork with the Post Supervisors to help craft and maintain the post production schedulesTrack the shots from production to Online post on one, or more series at a timeKeep Online editors up to date on shot delivery scheduleKeep Post Supervisors up to date on the state of each episode as it flows through finishingParticipate in Online QC reviewsFill out internal QC impairment reports and submit back to ProductionReview internal QC fixes to make sure they’re addressed prior to sending files to OnlineTrack the Production’s progress against the schedule, and work with the supervisors as needed to meet deadlinesAssist the post supervisors in collecting and organizing the final delivery paperworkCoordinate the final wrap and proper storage of final video and audio masters and offline editorial materialsEffectively communicate priorities, issues, and pertinent production info to crewLiaise with other departments to resolve any issues that may ariseQualifications:You have excellent communication and interpersonal skillsYou possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skillsYou have a proactive approach to problem-solvingYou are proficient in ShotgunYou have a desire to understand the way Post Production works and assist with the continuous improvement of operations to ensure best practices are identified and adopted where possibleBonus:Previous experience coordinating in production/animationStrong knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel such as basic formulas, formatting spreadsheets into presentable formats, exporting data from Excel to other formats, linking workbooks, sorting data for analysis, copying and pasting data sets between workbooks, and a strong ability to create and interpret reportsAbility to excel in a high pressure, deadline-oriented environmentUnderstanding of Post Production software, processes, standards and file formats is an assetWhy WildBrainAt WildBrain Studios our teams dig into a diverse range of projects – from preschool and comedy to action-adventure, and work with international partners such as Apple, Netflix, LEGO, DreamWorks, BBC, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon and more.
