Having this much expertise and history on every project brings tremendous consistency to our work and creates an internal standard that’s of the highest quality.About the Role:Reporting directly to the Vice President and Director of Construction at Bosa Construction, the Preconstruction Planner will assist in the construction of the first phase of an 18-building master-planned waterfront community, consisting of four mid-rise towers with unique infrastructure, civil, and foreshore components for Bosa Constructions longstanding client. This role will require defining each aspect of the project by choosing the best method that is most effective to complete the project based on costs, work schedule, and available resources. Responsibilities include:Collaborate with clients to get a clear and precise understanding of the project, their demands, and interests to help anticipate any future change requests;Develop an initial design by visiting the project site, selecting materials, and constructing an informal plan;Evaluate requirements, scope of cost estimates and engineering;Work closely with the Project Team and VCON to plan a detailed scheduled, including setting milestones and goals;Communicate with the clients about progress and help understand how the project will be carried out;Support clients in understanding the feasibility of the project and cost needs.What you Bring:The ideal Preconstruction Planner candidate is an analytical, detail-oriented, and organized construction professional looking for a unique opportunity to be train and mentored directly by experienced leaders in the organization and in the industry. You know that joining the project at this stage of construction presents multiple opportunities for long-term growth into VCON, Preconstruction, or even Project Management!Our Must HavesIntermediate to advanced proficiency in MS Project;At least four (4) years of combined experience in Planning, Scheduling, Estimating, or Project Management;Previous experience being on-site with a strong understanding of construction site layouts and terminology;Experience working with Procore, or an Estimating software will be considered an asset;Excellent interpersonal and communication (written/verbal) skills with the ability to work under pressure and manage priorities;Certificate, diploma, or degree in Construction Management, Building Technology, Civil Engineering, Estimating, or a related field.Your RewardsBosa Construction distinguishes itself from our competitors not only by our level of quality, but also by our commitment to our staff.
