Job Description

Tap & Barrel - Coal Harbour is looking for prep cooks to join our BOH management team. We are looking for passionate and hardworking individuals. We are looking to fill both part-time and full-time positions with flexible schedules.We are located just steps away from the waterfront station in the gorgeous Coal Harbour. Our restaurant concept is a fun, fast-paced environment with a casual atmosphere. Our ideal candidate is fun, hardworking, passionate about food and puts the guest first. If you are the dynamic leader we are looking for, we invite you to be a part of our team.Prep Cook Responsibilities- preparing food to the highest quality- ensuring food safe- Following proper work place and food safe procedures- Counting prep accurately- Receiving deliveries- Cleaning up stations when prep is complete- Ensuring prep hall and coolers are kept clean and organizedWhat you bring:- Positive attitude- Ability to work in a fast paced environment- Able to move with haste- Able to lift 50+ pounds- Willingness to learn- Teamwork mentality- Communication skills- Handle pressureJob Types: Full-time, Part-timeSalary: $14.60-$21.00 per hourAdditional pay:

Experience:
  • Prep cook: 1 year (preferred)
Job Duties:
  • Prepare, season and cook food as directed, meeting dietary requirements where required
  • Follow recipes and presentation specifications
  • Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
  • Clean and maintain station in practicing good safety and sanitation
  • Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
